Government working to remove obstacles for women entrepreneurs: PM Shah

KATHMANDU:- Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said the government is committed to removing obstacles facing women entrepreneurs and providing the support needed to promote women’s entrepreneurship.

During discussions with officials of the Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN), the Prime Minister said the government would create an environment to promote products made by women entrepreneurs at tourist destinations and welcomed the Federation’s ‘I am an Entrepreneur’ brand initiative.

Federation representatives called for a more business-friendly environment, greater participation in trade fairs and export promotion programmes, easier access to finance, and increased representation in government policy-making and procurement processes.
