Government to treat the injured in Sunsari, Siraha incidents

KATHMANDU:- The government has decided to arrange for compensation, relief and treatment to the deceased and injured in the recent demonstration incidents in Sunsari and Siraha.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today took a decision to this effect, according to Deepa Dahal, press and research adviser to the Prime Minister.

The Cabinet meeting also decided to appoint Prof. Dr. Khadga Bahadur KC (Parbat) to the post of chairperson of the University Grant Commission and Prof. Dr. Roji Shreshta (Bhokjpur) to the post of the secretary of the same commission.
