Gold, silver prices drop in Nepal

KATHMANDU:- The prices of gold and silver have dropped in the domestic market on Friday, the last trading day of the week.

The price of gold has declined by Rs 5,800 per tola (11.66 grammes) and silver by Rs 155 per tola.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has fixed the price of gold at Rs 285,500 per tola and silver at Rs 4,350 per tola.

Earlier on Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 291,300 and silver at Rs 4,505 per tola.

According to international media, the price of gold has been fixed at 4,045 US dollar per ounce while silver at 57 US dollar per ounce in the international market today.
