Belkaji Gurung elected president of Tamu Samaj Barcelona
During the convention, gratitude was expressed to the outgoing president, Gautam Gurung—who led the Tamu Samaj Barcelona for eight years and made significant contributions to making the organization strong, active, and progressive—as well as to the entire outgoing executive committee.
BARCELONA:- A new executive committee of Tamu Samaj Barcelona, Spain, has been unanimously elected under the presidency of Belkaji Gurung during the organization’s sixth convention. The convention, held in Barcelona on Sunday, unanimously selected the new committee led by Mr. Belkaji Gurung.
The newly elected executive committee comprises Sameer Gurung as Senior Vice-President; Man Bahadur Gurung and Sami Gurung as Vice-Presidents; Yamkumari (Asmita) Gurung as General Secretary; Anish Gurung as Secretary; Himan Singh Gurung as Treasurer; Sanjeev Gurung as Joint Treasurer; Bishwa Gurung as Youth and Sports Coordinator; and Khim Bahadur Gurung as Joint Youth and Sports Coordinator.
The convention has selected Hom Bahadur Gurung, Amrit Gurung, Bhagwan Gurung, Sachin Gurung, Punam Gurung, Rewati Gurung, Hema Gurung, Sajana Gurung, Antim Gurung, Khem Gurung, Ramesh Gurung, Suresh Gurung, Shreya Gurung, and Pinki Gurung as members.
The newly elected executive committee has pledged to work towards the language, culture, traditions, identity, and institutional development of the Tamu community.
