372 undocumented immigrants cases filed with District Attorney’s office in Southern Texas

TEXSAS:- According to the Southern Texas District  Attorney’s  Office, 376 undocumented immigrants were charged with immigration offenses between August 15 and 21 in an effort to secure the southern border.

The cases include 18 people involved in human trafficking, 206 people accused of illegal entry, Gamboa could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted of human trafficking.

The charges were brought after they were arrested by ICE and Federal Agents as part of Operation Take Back, a program to combat illegal immigration and organized crime. illegal entry, and 150 people who re-entered after being removed.

According to the Southern Texas District Attorney’s Office, a Laredo case also involves Kenneth Gamboa. Gamboa is accused of driving a truck carrying 40 undocumented immigrants on Friday, August 15.

The investigation revealed a fake storage area in the truck’s storage area, where undocumented people were being hidden.

A total of 26 undocumented immigrants are accused of illegally re-entering the country after their deportation.
