Light rain and snowfall likely in the mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces
KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the country is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds. As a result, there is partial cloud cover over the Himalayan and hilly regions. In the Terai region, fog is expected in some places during the morning hours.
This afternoon, the Himalayan and hilly regions will experience partial cloud cover, while the weather in the Terai region will remain mainly clear. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places within the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while it will remain mainly clear in the Himalayan and hilly regions of the rest of the country.
Tomorrow, the weather will be partly cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly regions of the country, while it will remain mainly clear in the Terai region. The Department has stated that there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places within the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
