HoR meeting postponed until further notice

KATHMANDU:- A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, has been postponed until further notice.

The session was put off owing to the devastating flash flood in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli Rivers on Wednesday.

According to HoR secretariat, the meeting scheduled for 1:00 pm on August 27 was postponed as the government and HoR members have to engage in rescue and relief efforts following the floods. Secretariat general secretary Padma Prasad Pandey confirmed the postponement of the meeting until further notice as per the direction of the Speaker. RSS
