Three dead, one injured in a motorbike accident

KAILALI:- Three persons died in a collision of two motorbikes on the Bandevi road section in Attariya, Kailali along the Dhangahdi-Dadeldhura (Bhimdutta) Highway on Friday. 

The Area Police Office, Malakheti (Attariya) informed that three people who sustained critical injuries in a motorcycle collision died while being rushed to Dhangadhi for treatment.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Rana Bahadur Chand shared that the deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Harish Oli, the rider of motorbike (SuPA 01/0103187), from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-2.

Pillion rider Jeewan Pathak, 23, from Godavari Municipality-6, was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment.

Similarly, Yogendra Shah, the rider of another motorbike (SuPA 01/009p7781), aged around 26, from Godavari Municipality-1, and the 23-year-old pillion rider Harish Parki, also breathed their last.

DSP Chand said, “The incident site showed that the motorbikes were at high speeds exceeding 100 kms per hour, and parts along with wheels were dislodged and broken apart”.

The police reported that the deceased Oli was returning to Dhangadhi after attending a wedding in Godavari when the accident occurred. (RSS)
