UML to hold 11th General Convention in mid-December

KATHMANDU:- The CPN (UML) Secretariat meeting has decided to hold the party’s 11th General Convention in coming mid-December.     

The meeting held today at UML Chair KP Sharma Oli’s residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur decided to hold the General Convention in mid-December, shared Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali.

The date and venue of the General Convention will be decided by the party’s Central Committee meeting to be held on October 15 to 17, he said and added that due to the difficult situation in the country the General Convention is being held a year in advance.

He shared that the meeting also demanded the restoration of the House of Representatives.
