Two parliamentary committees meeting today

KATHMANDU:- Two parliamentary committees—the Infrastructure Development Committee and the Legislative Management Committee under the federal parliament are meeting today.

The Infrastructure Development Committee meeting is scheduled to discuss the condition of the Kodari Highway, Rasuwagadhi and other roads connecting the country in light of the obstruction caused by monsoon-induced rain.

The condition of road transport and road infrastructure is being discussed, considering the upcoming festivals and the likelihood of heavy traffic.

Likewise, the Legislative Management Committee meeting is scheduled to discuss the draft report on the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081 BS.
