Trishuli-plunged bus departed Pokhara at 7 pm

KASKI:-  It is revealed that the passenger bus that met with an accident in Dhading early this morning had departed Pokhara at 7.00 pm on Sunday. 

According to Chairperson of Prithvi Highway Bus Operation Company Ain Kumar Sai, the bus of Machhapuchchhre Tours and Travels (Ga 2 Kha 1421) carrying 34 passengers had left Pokhara at 7.00 pm.

He informed that the bus owner Omkumar Shrestha of Jamune, Tanahun was also on board the bus.

According to the information provided by the police, 17 people travelling on the bus have so far died.

The employees of Prithvi Highway Bus Operation Company have also reached the incident site from Malekhu to gather further information about the incident.

Police informed that driver of the bus, Sujit Nepali, and his condition is still unknown. According to him, the injured are being treated at trauma centres in Kathmandu hospitals and some at local hospitals.  (RSS)
