PM Karki pays floral tribute to Prithvi Narayan Shah

KATHMANDU:- Prime Minister Sushila Karki offered a bouquet of flowers to the statue of nation-builder Prithvi Narayan Shah on the occasion of Prithvi Jayanti and National Unity Day today.

The Prime Minister paid tribute during a special ceremony held at the square in front of the western gate of Singha Durbar.

At the program, President Ram Chandra Paudel laid a wreath at the statue, while a contingent of the Nepali Army offered a salute in honor of the nation builder.

Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, National Assembly Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal, Vice Speaker Bimala Ghimire, and ministers of the Government of Nepal were also present at the ceremony.
