Traffic halted in Tribhuvan, Bhimphedi, Kulekhani and Kanti highway

KATHMANDU:- Traffic has been halted in various rural municipalities of Makawanpur, citing the possibility of landslides due to incessant rainfall.

In a notice issued by the District Administration Office, Makawanpur, it has been stated that all types of vehicles going towards Kathmandu via Daman-Palung on the Tribhuvan Highway have been stopped from 5:00 pm today to 5:00 am on Tuesday.

A police team deployed by the District Police Office from Chowkitol in Hetauda has completely banned vehicles going towards Kathmandu and Bhimphedi from 5:00 pm today, Assistant Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, Mohan Raj Joshi, informed RSS.

The District Administration Office has also banned all types of vehicles from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am every day on the Kanti highway connecting Hetauda and Kathmandu, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Kafle, spokesperson of the District Police Office. RSS
