Teenage girl goes missing while making a tiktok in the Mahakali River

KAILALI:- A teenage girl has gone missing after being swept away by the Mahakali River while making a TikTok video.

The District Police Office, Kanchanpur, reported that 15-year-old Srishti Sunar, a resident of Dodhara-Chandani Municipality-10, went missing after being carried away by the river.

Sunar was swept away by the river on Monday while filming a TikTok video on the riverbank. Immediately following the incident, teams from the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force were deployed to search for her. Police Inspector Birendra Thapa of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, stated that a joint team from both forces is searching for the missing teenager in the Mahakali River.

Police reported that the search operation is facing difficulties due to the strong current of the Mahakali River.
