Talks between Government and protesting Hindu Samrat concluded without conclusion
JANAKPUR:- Talks held in Dhanusha between the government and the Hindu Samrat Sena—along with other pro-Hindu organizations—in the presence of Home Minister Sudhan Gurung failed to reach an immediate conclusion. Following a discussion that lasted approximately two hours, both sides agreed to adjourn the talks for the time being and resume the dialogue later.
Representatives of the government, the Hindu Samrat Sena, and various pro-Hindu organizations participated in bilateral talks held on Saturday at the District Administration Office in Dhanusha. Although the meeting involved detailed discussions regarding the demands of the movement, the district’s law and order situation, and recent developments, no immediate agreement was reached.
Speaking to the media after the talks, Home Minister Gurung clarified that the negotiations had not failed but were merely postponed for a short while. He stated that both sides would resume discussions after a break of approximately one hour.
As efforts to find a basis for agreement between the government and the protesting side continue, both parties are preparing to reconvene and chart a path toward a resolution.
