Santosh Kunwar elected NRNA Australia President

SYDNY:- Santosh Kunwar has been elected as the President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia. In the association elections held on Saturday (July 26), Kunwar defeated Sanjeev Dhakal ‘Gorkhali’ and Bhairav Dhakal by a huge margin.

Kunwar secured 6839 votes out of 13701 votes, defeating Sanjeev Dhakal and Bhairav Dhakal.

Previously, Kunwar has served as the NRNA Australia State Coordinator (2017-2019), ICC Member (2019-2021), and Oceania Regional Deputy Coordinator (2021-2023).

Babin Mishra, who is also the current spokesperson of NRN Australia, has won the election as Vice President.

Similarly, Chunmani Sapkota from Canberra was elected as General Secretary. Nijan Chaulagain was elected as Treasurer.
