RSP to hold district convention from April 28

KATHMANDU:- The Rastriya Swatantra Party has decided to begin its district convention from coming April 28.

RSP Spokesperson Manish Jha said that the secretariat meeting held today at the party’s central office in Banasthali decided to assign responsibilities to proportionally elected MPs in constituencies where there are no directly elected MPs.

The Party is preparing to approve the list along with districts and constituencies in the central committee meeting to be held on Monday. The secretariat has set the agenda for the central committee meeting.

According to party spokesperson Jha, a briefing about the party’s activities will be held at the beginning of the central committee meeting. The meeting will include reporting by central members.

Central members have been allotted two minutes each. The meeting will also discuss the nomination of central committee office bearers, draft general convention procedures, and amendments to the statute.

He shared that the meeting will also discuss the formation of candidate clubs and call for applications for the upcoming local-level elections, and the right to vote for Nepali citizens living abroad.
