‘Perspective to view private sector should be changed’ : President Dhakal

KANCHANPUR:- President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Chandra Prasad Dhakal has urged all to change their viewpoint towards the private sector.

Inaugurating the 34th annual general assembly of Kanchanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today, Dhakal argued that the concept that the private sector was there only to make a profit should be changed.

He argued that the private sector’s contribution to the nation’s gross domestic product (GDP) is high, and it is the private sector that makes a contribution to infrastructure development.

On the occasion, he said the Sudurpaschim Province of the country carries immense tourism potential, and its promotion was needed and added that Badimalika, Ramaroshan and others are the key religious tourist destinations in the province.

President Dhakal expressed confidence that returns would be obtained if honest efforts were made.

Likewise, he said that the Sudurpaschim Province has the advantage of being close to India’s mega industrial estates.
