Rainfall across the country as monsoon low pressure line moves north

KATHMANDU:- The country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds. The monsoon low-pressure trough has shifted slightly north of its average position.

At present, the weather is generally cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rain is occurring in some places in Koshi Province and in a few locations within Bagmati and Lumbini provinces.

Generally cloudy conditions will prevail across the country on Monday as well. There is a possibility of moderate rain and snowfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in many places across the country’s mountainous and hilly regions. Rainfall is also expected in many locations across the Terai regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

There is a possibility of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places across the Terai regions of Madhesh Province and Koshi Province. Heavy rain is also likely in the hilly regions of the country, as well as in one or two places within the Terai regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
