Rain likely in some parts of the country for the next three days

KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that while there is a possibility of rain in some parts of the country over the next three days, there will be no continuous downpour.

According to meteorologist Binu Maharjan, although rain is likely in various locations over the coming three days, there are no conditions for prolonged, continuous rainfall.

Residents of the Kathmandu Valley, who had felt reassured thinking the monsoon had withdrawn, have become somewhat concerned following sudden rainfall.

According to the department, the influence of westerly winds persists across all areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as the western parts of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.

The Department has stated that there is a partial influence of both monsoon winds and westerly winds across the entire territories of Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces, as well as the remaining parts of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
