5-point agreement between govt and agitating doctor

KATHMANDU:- A five-point agreement has been reached between Dilli Harijan, a doctor (intern), who was on a hunger strike for four days, and the government.

Harijan was demanding uniformity in the stipends provided to MBBS and BDS intern doctors.

Following the agreement, Harijan broke the hunger strike he was staging in Bir Hospital premises, on Friday. The agreement was made following the talks between the government team at the Ministry of Education and Sports and Harijan.
