NPRC Colorado organized Summer picnic concluded with food, meetings with fun
By Nati Babu Bhatta, COLORADO:- A summer picnic organized by the Nepali Public Relations Committee (Colorado Chapter)—aimed at fostering interaction, coordination, and goodwill among Nepali speakers in Colorado—concluded on Saturday.
Held at Community Park in Broomfield, Colorado, the event saw a large turnout of representatives from various organizations, intellectuals, dignitaries, artists, and businesspeople, alongside Nepali-speaking community members.
The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Kumar Jung Karki (Central Member of the Nepali Public Relations Committee, USA), Dharma Raj Shrestha (Former Vice President), Govinda Lamsal (Former Central Member), Ganga Chaulagai (President of Nepali Ghar), and Hari Gurung (President of Rocky Mountain Friends of Nepal), as well as current and former office-bearers of various organizations active in Colorado and representatives of the organizing body.
At the beginning of the event, Ganesh Bhandari, the president of the organizing organization, welcomed all the participants and thanked everyone who attended and contributed to making the event a success.
During the picnic, which took place on Saturday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the organizing committee distributed delicious, home-cooked Nepali-style meals to all participants free of charge. Attendees enjoyed themselves by singing and dancing to Nepali folk songs.
Since 2012, the organization has been organizing summer picnic events with the aim of fostering interaction, coordination, and goodwill among Nepalis.
