Nepali Congress recommends diaspora leader Bista candidate for HoR from Doti

NEW YORK:- Anand Bista, an activist who has been connecting the issues of the Nepali diaspora with the homeland of Nepal, has been nominated as a candidate by the Nepali Congress Doti for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

In recommending 17 names for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21, the Nepali Congress Doti has placed the name of non-resident Nepali activist Anand Bista at number one.

The Nepali Congress District Working Committee Doti meeting held on November 10 and 11 recommended the names of 17 people.

Bista, who was the first to be recommended, was born in Gadsera, Jorayal Rural Municipality-5, Doti and is the president of the Public Relations Committee of America.

Bista thanked the Nepali Congress Doti for recommending his name for the direct election to the House of Representatives.
