Nepali Congress has firm determination to bring about transformation in the country, Gagan Thapa asserts
KATHMANDU:- Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that his party has thoughts, determinations and plans to bring about transformation in the country.
During a meeting with the voters in Sarlahi constituency no. 4 on Saturday, NC President Thapa said that NC was in the election with the planning and preparations to complete the unfinished works in the country.
“There has been a newness in the NC after the second special national convention. This new congress (NC) has planning, excitement and determination. We have learnt from the past. So, we are clear what we should do in the coming days,” President Thapa added.
On the occasion, President Thapa viewed that the private sector would be encouraged to create employment to retain the youth workforce within the country.
For this, an investment-friendly environment should be created through policies, according to the NC President.
Meanwhile, NC President welcomed Constituent Assembly (CA) Member and leader of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal Kedarnandan Chaudhary and other leaders into the NC.
At a programme organized at Balara Municipality-9, Chaudhary, JSP Nepal leaders Manish Kumar Mishra, Bina Sinha and several other leaders from different parties joined the NC.(RSS)
