Nepali community interacts with Josep Rull, President of the Parliament of Catalonia

BARCELONA:- Nepalis living in Spain met and interacted with Josep Rull, the Speaker of the Parliament of Catalonia. During the interaction session following the meeting, representatives of the Nepali community in Catalonia shared their experiences and expressed their views regarding the community’s situation, contributions, and needs.
At the event, attended by representatives from various countries, important information was exchanged regarding Catalonia’s parliamentary structure, operational procedures, and democratic practices.

He placed special emphasis on the need to further strengthen democratic values, social coexistence, and cooperation among diverse communities.
Following the meeting, Satosh Shrestha, President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Spain Chapter, remarked that it was truly a moment of pride to represent Nepal and the Nepali community and to voice their views on an international platform.

During the meeting, Santosh Shrestha, President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Spain Chapter, honored Josep Rull, President of the Parliament of Catalonia, with a *khada* (ceremonial scarf) featuring the Nepali national flag on behalf of the Nepalis living in Spain.
