Nepal selected for Asian Games Men’s Cricket Competition 2026

 KATHMANDU:- Nepal has secured its spot in the Asian Games Men’s Cricket Competition 2026.

As the domestic Malaysian team defeated China in the qualifier on Tuesday by nine wickets, Nepal got its spot secured in the Games to be held in Japan in September-October.

Nepal had earlier defeated China by 221 runs in the first match of the group A. Two top scorers from each group get spot in the Asian Games. Now that China has been defeated by both Nepal and Malaysia, the country got ousted from the group that comprised three members.

Now, as the last match of the group, Nepal and Malaysia will play to decide the leader from the group.
