Nepal Law Commission (first amendment) Bill-2083 presented in HoR

KATHMANDU:- Nepal Law Commission (first amendment) Bill, 2083 was presented to the House of Representatives (HoR) today.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, tabled the bill before the lower house session.

Prior to this, the Minister proposed the meeting to grant permission for presenting the bill and Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal said no information of objection was received in regard with the Minister’s proposal. Tabling the document, the Minister said the existing laws were not sufficient to develop Nepal Law Commission as ‘a centre for excellence’ and the amendment was aimed at addressing such gap.(RSS)
