Nepal, India announce operational launch of cross-border P2P payment transactions

KATHMANDU:- Nepal and India have agreed to further expand bilateral cooperation through development partnerships, stronger connectivity and collaboration in priority areas of mutual benefit.

The understanding was reached during bilateral talks between Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal and India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in New Delhi on Saturday.

According to the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi, the two ministers reviewed progress on ongoing bilateral projects and cooperation initiatives and discussed ways to speed up implementation. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of shared concern, including coordination within multilateral forums.
