Nepal defeats Hong Kong by 181 runs in ACC U-19 Women’s Premier Cup

Nepal captain Soni Pakhrin also delivered an outstanding bowling performance. She took 4 wickets while conceding just 4 runs in 4 overs.

KATHMANDU:- Nepal defeated Hong Kong by 181 runs in the ACC U-19 Women’s Premier Cup. In the match held on Tuesday, Nepal secured victory by a massive margin of 181 runs. Earlier, Nepal had defeated Singapore by 151 runs in their opening match.
In today’s match, Nepal batted first and posted a massive total of 211 runs for the loss of six wickets. Captain Soni Pakhrin was the top scorer for Nepal, amassing 90 runs off 60 balls, including 13 fours and a six. Similarly, opener Sabitri Dhami played a half-century knock, scoring 52 runs off 36 balls.
Similarly, Alisa Kumari Yadav played an innings of 23 runs off 12 balls. For Hong Kong, Nimra Arab claimed two wickets.

Chasing a massive target of 212 runs, Hong Kong suffered a collapse of wickets. Wong Wing Kiw Hayley was the only player from the team to reach double figures. Although she made a concerted effort to stay at the crease, she struggled to score runs, eventually accumulating 13 runs off 45 balls.

Nepal captain Soni Pakhrin also delivered an outstanding bowling performance. She took 4 wickets while conceding just 4 runs in 4 overs. Manisha Upadhyay claimed 2 wickets.
