Mother and three sons die after being buried in landslide in Baglung

BAGLUNG:- Four members of the same family died after a landslide buried their house in Dharkhark, Nishikhola Rural Municipality-3, Baglung.

According to Superintendent of Police Phanindra Prasai of the District Police Office, Baglung, the deceased are 36-year-old Shyamkumari BK and her three sons—Manoj BK (13), Mukesh BK (8), and Nishan BK (3).

According to Superintendent of Police Prasai, the victims were buried when a landslide struck while they were asleep in their home. He stated that preparations are underway to transport the bodies of the deceased to the hospital for post-mortem examinations.

Police reported that the landslide has also disrupted electricity services. They added that further investigation into the incident has been initiated.
