Moderate Rainfall Likely in Several Provinces Today
KATHMANDU:- The Weather Forecasting Division has predicted light to moderate rainfall in some hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces later today under the influence of westerly and local winds.
According to the Division, thunder and lightning are also likely at one or two places in these provinces.
The weather is expected to remain generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions of the remaining provinces. At the same time, most parts of the southern plains are likely to experience mainly fair weather.
The Division has also forecast chances of light snowfall in some high-hill and Himalayan areas.
Meanwhile, hot weather conditions are expected to continue in the southern plains of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
