Kumar Nagarkoti appointed Chancellor of Nepal Academy

KATHMANDU:- The Prime Minister has appointed new office-bearers to the Nepal Academy, the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, and the Nepal Academy of Music and Drama, acting on the recommendations of a committee chaired by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

According to the Ministry, the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Member-Secretary, and Council members for all three academies were nominated pursuant to a decision made on Shrawan 19, 2083, August 4).

Kumar Nagarkoti from Sindhuli has been appointed Chancellor, Abinash Shrestha from Parbat as Vice-Chancellor, and Roshan Sherchan from Rupandehi as Member-Secretary of the Nepal Academy.

Similarly, Erina Tamrakar from Lalitpur has been nominated as Chancellor, Chandra Shyam Dangol (also from Lalitpur) as Vice-Chancellor, and Kailash Kumar Shrestha from Dolakha as Member-Secretary of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts.

Similarly, Brajesh Khanal from Kathmandu has been appointed as the Chancellor, Jhuma Limbu Wanem from Taplejung as the Vice-Chancellor, and Bhupendra Singh Rayamajhi from Morang as the Member-Secretary of the Nepal Academy of Music and Drama.
