Indian Consulate and IACC discuss engagement of SMEs and startups

NEW YORK:- The Consulate General of India in New York organized an interactive meeting with a business delegation from the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC).
The interactive meeting took place on July 29, 2026, at the Consulate in Manhattan. The IACC delegation was led by Regional President Raghavendra Ponkshe.
A post by the consulate on X mentions that delegation members discussed integrating Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and startups, technology transfer and innovation, as well as opportunities for service exports in the legal, intellectual property rights (IPR), and accounting sectors.

Ponkshe expressed gratitude to India’s Consul General Binay Srikanta Pradhan and Commercial Consul Rajlakshmi Kadam for organizing the event and facilitating interaction with the IICC delegation. Discussions were held regarding collaboration within the India-US business sector.
