Harry Potter and Philosopher’s Stone series Trailer released 

LOS ANGELES:- HBO has released the trailer for the new Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone series, giving fans their first glimpse of young actors in the roles made famous by the original films.

In the new series, Dominic McLaughlin stars as Harry Potter, Alistair Stout as Ron Weasley, and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger. The first season will follow the events of J.K. Rowling’s first book, as Harry discovers he is a wizard and begins his journey at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The trailer takes viewers back to the beginning of Harry’s story, from his first day in the wizarding world to his arrival at Hogwarts.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione are seen being sorted into Gryffindor, marking the start of the friendship that becomes the heart of the story.

Compared to the original films, this series will offer the opportunity to present the book’s events and characters in greater detail. Its trailer hints at scenes that fans of the novels will recognize but which did not appear in the 2001 film.

Additionally, Harry can be seen preparing to participate in Quidditch and eventually becoming the Gryffindor Seeker.

Trailer also features some of the actors portraying Hogwarts’ highly popular professors. John Lithgow appears as Professor Albus Dumbledore, while Paapa Essiedu plays the role of Professor Severus Snape. Similarly, Janet McTeer portrays Professor Minerva McGonagall.

The trailer focuses on the professors who guide young students during their first year at Hogwarts, introducing them to the rules and mysteries of the magical world.

A brief glimpse of Lux Pratt as Draco Malfoy is also seen in the trailer. However, HBO has not yet revealed details regarding the season’s greatest threat or challenge.

Lord Voldemort does not really appear in this footage. The character is expected to make an appearance towards the end of the first season.

This new Harry Potter series will premiere on HBO Max on December 25, 2026.
