Harmony rally held in Kalyanpur, Saptari

SAPTARI:- A religious harmony rally has been organized at Kalyanpur Bazar in Khadak Municipality-7, Saptari district, in the wake of clashes in some parts of the Terai region.

The rally was taken out today morning to disseminate the message that all living in the society should live harmoniously and no one should involve in any activity that destroys religious and community harmony.

Dipendra Chaudhary, a local youth, said that the rally was held keeping in mind the incidents of clashes and mutual misconception with regard to tragic incident that occurred at Kaptangunj in Devangunj Rural Municipality-3.

Representatives from Hindu and Muslim community, political parties and people’s representatives participated in the rally which went around the bazar sloganeering ‘Let’s maintain social harmony, relations of fraternity and mutual respect.’

Sita Ram Sah, HoR member from Saptari constituency 4, who participated in the rally said that the rally was to send message for all sides to maintain harmony by ending mutual misunderstanding and dispute.
