Cloudy Weather Likely Across Parts of Nepal Today
KATHMANDU:- The weather is expected to remain generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpashchim Province today, while other provinces will experience partly cloudy conditions.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, there is a likelihood of moderate rainfall and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some mountainous areas of the country.
The division also said that moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at several locations in the hilly regions of Koshi Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpashchim Province. Similar weather conditions are possible at a few places in the hilly regions of the remaining provinces and at one or two locations in the Tarai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim.
Meteorologists at the Weather Forecasting Division stated that the current weather pattern is influenced by a partial impact of a westerly low-pressure system affecting Nepal.
