Give majority to Congress for good governance, development: NC president Thapa

BUTWAL:- Nepali Congress president, Gagan Kumar Thapa, has appealed to all for majority to the NC in order to ensure good governance and development.

Addressing a mass gathering programme organized by the NC district working committee, Rupandehi, in Butwal, president Thapa said congress will become the largest party in this election as there is the confidence in people that if opportunity is given to congress, it will develop the country.

Saying that ultra-politics will not help the country, president Thapa vowed that the organizations are the biggest source of power for Congress.

NC will lead integrating 6,743 wards and 753 municipalities as Congress came up with the guideline of “Team Nepal” concept.

Congress came up with a resolution to purge the previous trend of the murky politics of forging undesirable alliance as it amplified dirty politics.

President Thapa said, “Our politics has become dirty, we will purge that dirty politics”.

Stating that the NC has come up with a resolution for the next five year, he claimed the NC will start implementing its resolutions after the March 5 election because the NC will get majority and form the government.

In the programme, NC vice-president Pushpa Bhushal said that it is now time for the NC to take leadership in the country.

She mentioned that people’s sentiment is in favor of the Congress.
