Celina Jaitley in Kathmandu to be the chief judge of ‘Miss Universe Nepal’
KATHMANDU:- Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe India Celina Jaitly has arrived in Nepal to serve as a judge for the ‘Miss Universe Nepal’ and ‘Miss Earth Nepal’ finales.
The winners of these two titles are set to be announced at the finale taking place in Kathmandu this evening. Fourteen finalists are competing for the crowns.
Sangita Puri, Director of the organizing body Global Glam Ventures, announced that actress Jaitly will serve as the head judge for the finale. According to her, model Manika Bishwakarma has also arrived in Nepal to participate as a judge.
According to Puri, the selected Miss Universe Nepal will represent the country at the Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico, while Miss Earth Nepal will represent it at the Miss Earth pageant in Manila, Philippines.
This marks the first time the ‘Miss Earth Nepal’ title is being announced since The Hidden Treasure relinquished it.
