Bishnu Majhi releases Teej song ‘Gharbar’

KATHMANDU:- Singer Bishnu Majhi has released a song for this year’s Teej festival. Titled “Gharbar,” the song features lyrics and music by her husband, Sundarmani Adhikari.

The song showcases Majhi’s vocals and depicts post-marriage domestic life, women’s emotions, and the joys and sorrows of family life. It also incorporates the theme of foreign employment.

Although she has not been seen in the public eye for a long time, Majhi releases a song every year for the Teej festival. This song is 11 minutes long and depicts the pain and anguish a wife endures following an accident involving her husband abroad.

Lalita Paudel has also performed the dance and acting in this song. She has appeared in every song released by Majhi and Adhikari over the past few years. Additionally, Sundarmani is involved in both the video direction and acting. The choreography was done by Mausam Himali.
