Belgium based Gen Z demands dissolution of controversial ‘NRNA’

BRUSELLS:- The new generation of Nepali youth has been angered by the internal disputes and divisions seen in the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) in Belgium.

Representatives of the Gen Z and Gen Y generations issued a joint statement on Monday demanding the immediate dissolution of both NRNA committees operating in Belgium. They also warned of peaceful but tough protests if their demands are not met.

The statement said, “NRNA is not a branch of any party, it is a common organization of all Nepalese diaspora. However, the party-based division seen in Belgium has weakened its credibility and existence.”

An ultimatum has been given until 8 pm on Friday, September 19, 2025 to fulfill the demands. The youth have warned that they will launch a peaceful but determined protest if action is not taken within the stipulated time.
