ACC Premier League: Nepal facing Malaysia in semifinal

KATHMANDU:- Nepal is playing against Malaysia in the semifinal of the ACC Men’s U19 Premier Cup Cricket Tournament underway in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today. 

The match is scheduled to take place at Ajman Stadium at 9.00 am today.

As the Group ‘A’ winner, Nepal is taking on Group ‘D’ winner Malaysia in the semifinal.

In the group stage matches, Nepal secured their semifinal journey by winning two consecutive matches.

Nepal defeated Saudi Arabia by eight wickets in their first match and beat Hong Kong by a massive 119-run margin in the second match.

From this tournament featuring fourteen teams, three will be selected for the upcoming ACC U-19 Asia Cup.

Both teams that reach the final of this tournament will be directly selected for the upcoming ACC U-19 Asia Cup.

The match for third place will be played between the teams defeated in the semifinals. The team that secures third place will also qualify for the Asia Cup. The U-19 Asia Cup will take place in the UAE this December.  (RSS)
