Sushila Karki appointed Nepal’s first female Prime Minister

KATHMANDU:- President Ramchandra Paudel has administered the oath of office and secrecy to Nepal’s newly appointed Prime Minister Sushila Karki the Office of the President today.

President Ram Chandra Poudel has appointed former Chief Justice Karki as the Prime Minister. He has been administered the oath of office and secrecy by President Ram Chandra Poudel in the presence of the heads of constitutional bodies.

With her appointment as Prime Minister, Sushila Karki has become the first female Prime Minister of Nepal.
