NOC directs gas industries to issue VAT bill

KATHMANDU:- Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has directed the LP gas industries across the country to ensure that VAT bills are issued when liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) are sold to customers.

The LP Gas and Aviation Department, NOC said it had received complaints that invoices were not being issued during gas sales.

In response, the Department has dispatched a circular to all gas industries, reminding them of the requirement to issue VAT (Value Added Tax) bills. The circular signed by  NOC Director and Engineer Binitmani Upadhyay, also stated that similar letters had been previously sent to the concerned Association on August 14, 2024 and on  January 23, 2025.  (RSS)
