Light rain and snowfall likely in the hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces

KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (Weather Forecasting Division) has stated that the country is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds. At present, the weather remains mainly clear across the nation. In the Terai region, fog and mist are expected in some places during the morning hours.

This afternoon, the weather in the Himalayan and hilly regions of the country will be partly cloudy, while it will remain mainly clear in the Terai region. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places within the Himalayan region of Karnali Province, as well as in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, there will be partial cloud cover in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. In the remaining Himalayan and hilly regions of the country, the weather will be mainly clear.
