Rain expected in many parts of the Terai region of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces on Monday
KATHMANDU:- The country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds. The monsoon trough has shifted slightly north of its normal position, moving closer to Nepal’s Terai region.
As a result, the weather is generally cloudy across the country. Rain is occurring in a few places within Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces. Light rain is also continuing in one or two locations in Sudurpaschim Province.
Generally cloudy conditions are expected across the country throughout Monday. Moderate rainfall or snowfall is likely in some places within the mountainous regions.
Similarly, rainfall is expected in many areas of the Terai regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
There is also a possibility of moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in Madhesh Province, as well as in some areas of the Terai regions of Koshi, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
According to the weather forecast, heavy rain is likely in one or two places across the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. There is also a possibility of very heavy rain in one or two places within the hilly regions of Gandaki and Bagmati provinces.
