Prohibitory order issued in Parsa until 6 am on Saturday

PARSA:- Taking the current security situation into account, the District Administration Office, Parsa, has reimposed a curfew from 5:00 PM on Friday until 6:00 AM on Saturday to maintain peace, security, and public order.

The local administration issued the fresh curfew order after protests broke out in various locations on Friday afternoon following the expiration of the previous day’s curfew.

Parsa’s Chief District Officer, Bhola Dahal, issued a notice announcing the imposition of a prohibitory order in specific areas of Birgunj Metropolitan City, in accordance with a decision by the District Security Committee.

The order has been enforced within the boundaries defined by the Pratima Chowk–Bus Park Bypass Road to the east, Tilave Bridge to the west, Gandak Chowk to the north, and Shankaracharya Gate to the south, pursuant to Section 6 (3a) of the Local Administration Act, 2028.
