Special court orders release of Bishnu Poudel on regular date

KATHMANDU:- The Special Court has ordered the release of CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bishnu Paudel on a general undertaking.

A bench comprising Special Court judges Narayan Prasad Paudel, Dilli Ratna Shrestha, and Bidur Koirala issued the order for his release on a general undertaking.

The court ordered Paudel’s release on a general recognizance bond, stating that the evidence obtained so far failed to establish any connection or involvement on his part.

The Department of Money Laundering Investigation had arrested Paudel in Surkhet on Asar 8.
