Fan-favorite star Mariska Hargitay coming to California for three theater shows

LOS ANGELES:- California fans of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” will soon see their beloved star on a Bay Area stage this August.
Mariska Hargitay, the popular “SVU” star, is scheduled to appear in Palo Alto for the Theatre Works New Works Festival, where she will present her solo Broadway show, “Every Brilliant Thing.”
Three productions will be staged at the Lucie Stern Theatre as part of an extensive 10-day event, featuring a variety of theatrical performances ranging from a hip-hop musical adaptation of a classic Edgar Allan Poe story to a new version of “Little Red Riding Hood” that incorporates traditional Mexican folk music.
According to the organizers, tickets for the performances—starting at $350—have already sold out.
Before landing her role on “SVU” in 1999, Hargitay worked on various network TV programs early in her career and appeared as a guest star on shows such as “Seinfeld” and “ER.”
