31 Days to HoR Elections: EC Completes Printing of 3 Million Ballot Papers for FPTP System

KATHMANDU:- The Election Commission (EC) has completed printing 3 million ballot papers for the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system ahead of the House of Representatives (HoR) elections scheduled for March 5.

According to the EC, ballot papers for 25 districts under the FPTP system have been printed at Janak Education Materials Limited in Bhaktapur. In addition, nearly 1.1 million sample ballots are being printed to support voter education efforts.

The Election Commission has already completed printing of ballot papers for the proportional representation (PR) system, with a total of 28,030,000 ballots prepared for the upcoming polls, EC Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai confirmed.
