15 die in natural disaster in four days

KATHMANDU:- Fifteen people died in natural disaster including floods and landslide triggered by incessant rainfall at different places of the country in the past four days.

Nepal Police Spokesperson Abhi Narayan Kafle shared that three persons lost their lives in Bagmati, four in Lumbini, five in Gandaki, two in Karnali and one in Madhesh in the disaster.

Similarly, four people sustained injuries in the disaster and are undergoing treatment at local hospitals. A total of 1,284 people affected by floods, landslides and inundation have been rescued to date.

Activities are underway to relocate families that are at risk of landslides and floods at safer place in coordination with security bodies and locals, added Kafle. RSS
